Proctor (Crum), Karen, 69, Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014. Visitation with the family will be from 7-8:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 4 and the funeral service 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 5, both at Downing and Lahey Mortuary West. Karen received her Master's degree in biology, from Pittsburg State University, and taught biology in both Kansas and Georgia. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and her favorite hobbies were genealogy, attending Native American cultural events, and hunting for treasures at garage sales. Karen is survived by her husband, Bob; children, Amanda Proctor, of Skiatook, OK; Brian Proctor (Erin), of Braintree, MA; and Susan Kneeland (Brian), of Wichita; siblings, Galen Crum (Sara), of Salina, KS, and Keith Crum (Deborah), of Georgia; and grandchildren, Grayson, Amory, Rhett, Wyatt, and Emmett.
