Russell, Aron R., born March 17, 1951 in Wichita, KS. Died January 26, 2011 of illness in Lee's Summit, MO. Second son of W. Leo Russell and Leona D. Russell, he was preceded in death by his parents and younger brother, Clinton K. Russell. He is survived by his son, Clinton R. Russell of Wichita, his older brother, Leon R. Russell of Dallas, TX, his younger sister, Linnea K. Opatrny of Houston, TX, his younger brother, Clayton K. Russell of Kingman, AZ, and his extended family: Amanda Raine, mother of Clinton R. Russell and Derek Raine, both of Wichita. He graduated from Wichita West High School where he participated in many varsity sports, including football, wrestling and basketball. To the very end, his life-long passions were football and hunting. Rosary: Friday 2/25 at 7:30pm, and Funeral Mass: Saturday 2/26 at 10:30am, both to be held at St. Francis Parish (861 North Socora, Wichita); Internment: Resthaven Cemetery immediately following the Mass; Lunch provided back at St. Francis Parish after the internment.
