Dewey Rieth, 73 year old Mooreland resident, passed away Monday, February 2, 2026 at home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 21, 2026 in the Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Billings Funeral Home.

Kenneth "Dewey" Dewight Rieth was born November 10, 1952 to Fredrick Joseph Rieth and Rosie May (Fields) Rieth in Woodward County, Oklahoma. Dewey grew up in Woodward, Oklahoma and Wichita, Kansas. He attended Woodward grade schools before moving to Wichita where he graduated from West High School in 1970. Dewey worked as an automotive paint and repair technician for years, even owning his own body shop for a period of time.
He was happiest when he was camping, fishing, and visiting with his family and friends. He enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles, as well as cooking his special recipes. He was also involved in the Moose Lodge and ABATE.

Dewey was preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick and May Rieth; two brothers, Darrel and Dean Rieth, and two nephews, Donald Dean and Rusty Rieth.
He is survived by two brothers, Joseph David Rieth and wife Judy and Fredrick Daniel Rieth and wife Mary; one sister, Donneta Moore and husband Darrel; 8 nieces and nephews, Rick Rieth, Dennis Rieth, John Rieth, Joben Rieth, Jason Rieth, Dayton Moore, Darret Moore, and Jenny Rieth-Moore; and many great nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.

He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
