Wichita KS United States Jansen, David H., 54, United Methodist Youthville, Youth Care Worker III, died May 16, 2007. Visitation Friday, May 18, 6-8 p.m., Resthaven Mortuary. Funeral service 3 p.m. Saturday, May 19, West Side Christian Church, 1819 W. Douglas, Wichita, Kan. He was preceded in death by father, Charles Jansen and brother, Larry Jansen. Survivors: son, Michael Jansen, his wife Stacey and their son Isaac of Milwaukee, WI; daughter, Michelle Jansen of Benton, KS; mother, Dorothy Jansen of Wichita; sister, Jolene Jansen of Bel Aire; sister-in-law, Debbie Jansen of Haysville, and many other friends and family. A memorial has been established with United Methodist Youthville.

Dave, Robbie Sell, Mike Fellers ('71), myself, and a couple of others formed a band somewhere back in about 1967. Dave was our tech for the sound. He was quiet... but always a solid part of rock group that would never go anywhere except in our dreams and memories.
