Armstrong, Rhonda Kay, 49, retired Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Joseph Campus registered nurse, died Monday, May 6, 2002. Visitation with family 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Downing and Lahey Mortuary East; service 10 a.m. Friday, First Evangelical Free Church; graveside service 11:45 a.m. Friday, Douglass (Kan.) Cemetery.

Mrs. Armstrong was a member of the First Evangelical Free Church and was a volunteer with Trinity Hospice and the Kansas Humane Society.

Survivors: husband, Larry; son, Graham; mother, Peggy Oliver of Wichita; father, Robert Oliver of Stockton, Texas; brother, Clay Oliver of Wichita; sister, Terri Nation of Haysville.
