DERBY - Hyre, Carolyn S., 59, passed away Monday, May 3, 2010. Visitation Thursday 10 a.m. 8 p.m., with family present 6-8 p.m.,, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby. Funeral service 2 p.m., Friday at Pleasantview Baptist Church, 1335 N. Buckner Ave., Derby. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Lillian Liebau; husband, Robert Hyre; son, Marc Corrie; son-in-law, Mike Sporn; grandson, Jack Corrie. She is survived by her children, Tiffany Sporn, Jamie Hyre Hodgden, Robert Hyre, Jr. all of Wichita; grandchildren, Ian, Lane, Taylor, Grant, Cody, Jake, Jordan, Hannah, Callen and Christian; twin sister, Marilyn Liebau of Derby; brother, Fred (Janice) Liebau, Jr. of Derby; sisters, Margaret (Bob) Dunlavy of Wichita, Naomi (Don) Cheatum of Wichita; numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established with the Pleasantview Baptist Church. Smith Mortuary, Derby.
