Marc Lee Webb was born in Wichita, Kansas on February 28, 1935 to Loren Miller and Mary Helen (née Northington) Webb.  Dr Webb taught physical education and was head basketball and gymnastics coach at Wichita East from 1960 until 1967.  He was the Athletic Director and later assistant Principal during his time at West High from 1968 to 1972. Following his time at West he was Principal at Robinson and Hamilton Junior High Schools.  He received a doctorate in educational administration in 1976.  In 1985 he took a one year leave of absence from Robinson to create the Kansas Educational Endowment Program, a not-for-profit organization that raised money from private citizens and businesses to support projects in the Wichita schools.

SADDLEBROOKE, AZ-Webb, Marc 83, of Saddlebrooke, AZ died May 22. Marc played 2nd base for Wichita University, served in the USAF, and became a coach, principal, athletic director and administrator for the Wichita Public Schools serving 33 years. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; daughter, Lisa Urban (Forrest); sons, Greg and Jim Webb (Lana); stepchildren, Eric Cale (Sarah), Jennifer Herren (Keith) and Derek Lueker (Alison); 13 beloved grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Graveside service: Sat. June 16, 2 pm at Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made payable and sent to Wichita Community Foundation, 301 N.
