Helen Elizabeth Page was born on August 4, 1909 in Wichita, Kansas to Herman Loyal and Maud Helen (née Smith) Page. She was the assistant librarian and head librarian at West High from the 1967 - 1968 school year until her retirement in 1974.

Boys, Helen P., 97, went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on February 3, 2007. She was born August 4, 1909 in Wichita. Preceded in death by husband Howard H. Boys and sister Lucille Sears. She was a homemaker, companion to Howard, English teacher at North High, and a West High Librarian. She graduated from Ottawa University with graduate classes at both WSU and Kansas State Teachers College. On June 16, 1934, she married Howard Boys at her home in Wichita and moved to St Louis, MO. Howard was a Naval officer, and they moved many times while Howard was in the Navy. After WW II, the family moved to Wichita. Helen was a docent at the Wichita Art Museum and volunteered for many church activities and had many leadership responsibilities in the church. Survivors: daughter, Kathryn Nachbor (John) of Potwin, KS; son, Robert Boys (Sandra) of Pittsburg, KS; nephew, Whitney Boys (Lora A); 6 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel at First Presbyterian Church, 525 North Broadway Wichita on Monday February 12, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Gideons International, PO Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214-0800 or The Organ Renovation Fund at First Presbyterian Church, 525 N.
