Neil Stuart Warren was born on May 26, 1920 in Jewell County, Kansas to James Blaine and Ada Mae (née Bacon) Warren. He served as a Naval aviator in World War II. In 1950 he graduated from Emporia State Teachers College and began teaching commerce at Planeview High School. Mr Warren taught business education classes at Wichita West from the 1957 - 1958 school year until his retirement in 1983.

LINDSBORG - Warren, Neil Stuart, 93, passed away August 21, 2013. He was born May 26, 1920, the son of James and Ada (Bacon) Warren in Jewell County, KS. Neil was a retired high school business teacher at Wichita West High School. On May 30, 1945, Neil was united in marriage to Helengrace Anderson. She passed June 16, 2000. Neil leaves behind many loved ones including his sons: Robert Warren (Nancy) of Mt. Prospect, IL, Richard Warren (Cathy) of Salem, WI, sister, Phyllis Lange of Mankato, KS, 6 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, August 23, from 4-7 pm at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, August 24, at the Evangelical Covenant Church, Lindsborg, with burial following Elmwood Cemetery, Lindsborg. Mr. Warren taught me a lot and thank God He made me fast on the typewriter as I sure used the keyboard on computers everyday in communication around the world. He built the foundation of general business into me and I used those principles around the world in negotiated contracts. He took extra time to push me to the next level. Great person and excellent teacher.
