Where have you lived?

I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to live in several different locations. After college, I had a job in Kansas City. From there, I went to Chicago, New Orleans, and now Tampa.

Famous or interesting people you have met:

Phil Donahue and Marlo Thomas. Their son lived in the same complex where I lived. Met them in the parking lot. John Kerry. He was having coffee in YBOR, a section of Tampa, waiting on a bench for his friend. I met Bill Clinton at his campaign hdqtrs in New Orleans. I met Barak Obama on one of his many stops in this State. John Travolta! Hell, this town is full of those damn Scientologists. So, meeting one is no big deal. You trip over them whenever you go out for dinner or to the theater.

Have you done something you told yourself you wouldn't?

Of course, that is why life can be so fun and challenging.

What did you always want to do that you have not done yet?

In all honesty, I have always been one of those persons whose head has been pointed upward my entire life. I would have loved to travel the galaxies. I guess this is why I am such a science fiction geek.

What would we be surprised to know about you?

I had a very active social life in high school. I enjoyed science fiction then and now. I read constantly and prefer reading to watching TV or working on my computer. I have written several short stories all were rejected for publication which would not be a surprise to anyone. I hated school because it was so restrictive in what you read and, even, how one thinks. I enjoy great conversations over coffee in an outdoor cafe. I am a great cook.

In the making: a Hadley reunion of West and North 1970 classmates. This is a preview of some who will attend from North.

I do not remember Mr. Brown but wanted to honor his service to his nation, to his family, and to his friends.  He gave the ultimate sacrifice in protecting all of us, and I know that our Class would like to extend to his family our sincerest sympathies our gratitude.

The network that supports my internet had major problems, and I lose all of my email addresses. I hope all is going well with you and your family. I was saddened to read about the passing of Scott Lohrentz. He was a nice guy, and one of the few of my friends that I actually went to school with. Enjoy your summer!
