I spent 20 years on active duty in the US Air Force. My wife and I met in Atlanta, Georgia - I was going to grad school at Georgia Tech, she was a Lt in the US Public Health Service, stationed at the Centers for Disease Control.

We live in Covington, WA (south and east of Seattle).

My current interests include genealogy / family history and music (guitar and pedal steel guitar).

During our senior year two classmates and I mixed up some iodine hydroxide in Mr Patten's chem lab (we here lab assistants). We painted it on paper towels and put them in the hallways. When the custodial staff drove over them in the stuff would make a loud bang. Somehow Mr Patten figured out who did it and chewed us out. Escaped being expelled.

My father had a diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia. During my junior year he started to self medicate with alcohol. My Mom moved us to a rental across from running track at West. Lived there during my senior year.

Can't remember. Probably not. Wish I had.

I miss the friendly people. I do not get back much any more now that my parents have past away. Favorite things to do: visit relatives in Kansas and Missouri, go fishing.

Sarah Margaret Roffey 'Sally' Jewell, Secretary of the Interior. Attended her swearing in ceremony at the White House and the reception at the Department of the Interior. Sally and Mia's families used to go camping together back in the 50's and 60's. Mia's Mom was Sally's Girl Scout leader.

Visit Japan.

My wife and I are my sister's guardians.
