I have taught art (K-12), and art appreciation classes (college age), ever since graduating from college. While our children were young, I worked part time at optical offices, and thoroughly enjoyed assisting as a Vision Therapist.

What Elementary School (s) did you attend?

I attended Johnson Elementary school in Abilene, Texas, and Winters Elementary School in Winters, Texas. My Dad moved us to Kansas, and I did one year at Pearl Kensler, and another year at McCollom Elementary schools, Wichita, KS.

What did you want to do or think you were going to do when you finished high school?

Obtain my art and teaching degree, and teach art! I had a bonus job of running my own commercial art studio, and doing freelance projects all of my life. I married a wonderful man, and we have been so blessed with our children and THEIR families... and our joy is hanging out and exploring life with them.

If you don't live in the Wichita area, what do you miss the most? How often do you get back? What are your favorite things to do?

The beauty of Facebook these days is the ability to keep up with everyone. Keep us posted on get togethers and bands playing, etc.
